The information we may collect about you broadly falls into the following categories:

Application Data:
We will collect some personal information to register you and create an account. This includes your chosen username, country of residence, an email address and a profile picture (though this does not have to be a photo of you). You may optionally provide a short written bio to fill our your profile.
Social Logins:
You have the option to register with us using your existing google or apple logins. Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. This may include your name, email address, contacts list and profile picture. We will use the information we received only for the purposes that are described in this privacy policy or are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant services. We do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third party social media provider.

Payment Processing:
Should you opt for paid service, payment details you provide will be encrypted using secure sockets layer (SSL) technology before they are submitted to us over the internet. You will be providing credit or debit card information directly to the operator which operates a secure server to process payment details, encrypting your credit/debit card information and authorising payment. Information which you supply is not within our control and is subject to the operators own privacy policy and terms and conditions.

How do we process your information?
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our service, including:
To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts
To deliver the Buck The Critics services to the user
To enable user-to-user interaction such as the mechanism by which movie reviews are shared within friend groups
To deliver targeted advertising to you within the app
On what legal basis do we collect your information?
We may process your information if you have given us consent to use your personal information for a specific purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

When and with whom do we share your personal information?
We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors or agents (’third parties) who perform services for us or on our behalf and request access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with out third parties, which are design to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not shared your personal information with any organisation apart from us. They also commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct. How long do we keep your personal information?
